Can l just buy an epipen over the counter at my chemist or what? My family history has a few allergys and l have a baby so l would just like to be extra careful

NOPE! In order to get an Epipen Jr you must have a prescription. l would talk to your Ped. about your concerns. My son has severe food allergies and it was like pulling teeth to get one. Unless there is a strong history l would not be too concerned. What you can get is just some antihistimine such as Benadryl to keep onhand.

No, you need a prescription and then they have a use by date in which you will need to take it to a chemist for proper disposal and start all over. As a caution -over caution can be detrimental.
