Ok l have very pronouced red lines throughout the white part of my eyes.l also have a yellow tint through the cornea and edges of my eye.l do not smoke or wear contact lenses any ideas?

do you wear contacts? you may have dry eyes or irritation. Yellowing can indicate either jaundice (a condition of the liver-caused by drinking too much or hepatitis), or anemia (not getting enough iron or nutrients). The red lines are normal, some people tend to have more pronounced veins in their eyes. If you use the computer or strain your eyes alot, it tends to get worse.

Sounds like a pterigium ( l have one on both eyes), which is a growth related to allergies. When irritated they get very red & u get the red lines, & the corners of ur eye where they r located do get slightly yellowish (but this is all the time, even when mine r not irritated). Here is what l did:
Went to eye doctor
Was told to use Refresh artificial tears throughout the day
Was given an allergy eyedrop to take away the redness & irritation
If really bad, they will give u a steroid drop (which l have also)

The only way the pterigium will go away is if u get is surgically removed, but they have to be really bad in order for u to qaulify for that. l find that by using my eyedrops regularily, my pterigiums r annoying but managable. Good luck!
