Hi :) Just curious, what would be the odds of a healthy twenty year old woman with no existing allergies to suffer from an anaphylactic shock? l have become such a hypochondriac and l can not stop worrying l always think l am going to have one cos l read about them and they seem so scary and l have had panic attacks before which mimic some of the symptoms! Thanks so much xoxo
Hi Mr Chow but is not an anapylactic reaction a severe allergy

There is a virtually zero percent chance if you are perfectly healthy. Anaphylactic shock can only be caused if you have polio, an advanced stage of arthritis, or some other diseases.

Okay, an anaphylactic response is due to an extreme allergy.
If u have not had allergies in the past, u r less likely to develop one. But all patients l administer shots to in the doctor is office have to wait 15 minutes to be sure they do not react to what I've given them. l have seen reactions to medicines, but in the hands of a doctor, u r still safe. We give u meds to stop the anaphlactic reaction. But keep in mind, if u ever take a medicine & feel itchy or rashy, hard time swallowing--that is not normal. Call ur doctor right away.
