there is only one facial moisturizer l was not allergic to, and now after trying a few others, l am allergic to it as well. do you know why this could be. just one more thing - if you are not allergic to honey, can you use it instead of a facial moisturizer if you add chamomile tea to it. thanx!

If you are not allergic to honey you can use it for a facial moisturizer. Allergy is a thing that is so difficult to deal with.
Good luck

l would recommend that you see a dermatologist and ask him/her what they would suggest. Instead of spending your money trying to find something that you might just have an adverse reaction to, dermatologists can recommend what is best for your skin type and allergic condition.

I'd suggest u see a dermatologist & ask for a patch test. They can help u figure out what you're reacting to in the lotions. Do u have an idea on what ingredients r problems? If not, try to get the ingredients to some things you're sure r problems & take the list to the doctor. It will give them a place to start.

l have not heard of using honey as a moisturizer, but we've tried everything on the market & then started pulling things out of the kitchen cabinet. My daughter uses Olive Oil as a 'lotion' when she got out of the shower/bath.

l have a daughter who has developed sensitivities to almost everything in lotions. Mineral oil, lanolin, & petrolium products cause her incredible amounts of pain. Her dermatologist gave her a prescription for Mimyx (which has Olive Oil as the main ingredient). She loves because it is safe & does not leave her greasy, like the olive oil. You could ask ur general doctor for a sample of non-steriodal lotions.
