My 1 year 9 month old miniature schnauzer is sneezing constantly and l need to know if he is sick, has a cold or maybe change of weather or it might have been because l have left him at my parent is house while l was away for three days and it was separation anxiety or something. idk someone plz help!!!

My 1 year 9 month old miniature schnauzer is sneezing constantly and l need to know if he is sick, has a cold or maybe change of weather or it might have been because l have left him at my parent is house while l was away for three days and it was separation anxiety or something. during the day he barely sneezes, but when he gets excited orplay with me (running around) he sneezes like crazzzy! l do not know whatcould have happened. he is sneezing usually only when he runs around. pease help me!!

he probably has allergies.

He could have allergies or be allergic to something in your house.

Dogs do get allergies. Of course check with your vet in case it is something else (do not think respiratory illnesses cause sneezing though.) You can try 1/2 a children is Benadryl if it is an allergy.

I've seen/had dogs that sneezed a LOT while excited. It is possible that he is just really excited to see u again. I've read that dogs do not have concept of time, & he may have thought u were leaving forever & is really happy that he is home. Loyal animals, like dogs, really miss u a lot when you're not around.
If he is sneezing a lot, even when he is not excited, it is likely that he was allergic to something at ur parent is house. If it does not go away in a day or two, or if he is really suffering with it, u should call his veterinarian.
l have heard of people giving their dog Benadryl, but l can not guarantee it is dosage or safety. Veterinarians do not usually cost much for routine visits, such as this. Try a local one, if you're concerned.
