How Dangerous is Consumption Of Nail Paint Remover?
What are its effects? Any remedy?
I am Thinking of cleaning my teeth with it to make them bright white...

l think a lot of it would depend on how much was ingested. You would be better off calling the poison control center 1-800-222-1222

You should read the back of the bottle and see what it says about ingestion.

Drinking nail polish remover is a very bad idea. The possible effects & what u should do if you've already ingested the stuff may vary depending on which chemicals the manufacturer uses for that particular brand of remover. If u or somebody u know has, in fact, recently consumed nail polish remover, u need to call the 24 hour poison control hotline IMMEDIATELY, be prepared to give them as much info as possible, & then do whatever they tell u to do! Did u happen to hear somewhere that Once Removed brand nail polish remover contained GHB, which lead to u drinking a bottle of the stuff, hoping to get high? If that is the case, l hate to be the bearer of bad news, but you're a little late.

A few years ago, Once Removed did, in fact, contain an ingredient that was a precursor to the drug GHB, & people with really serious GHB habits were known to just drink Once Removed right out of the bottle if they needed a fix & had no other options.

Word got out about Once Removed, the manufacturer got a lot of grief from parents, journalists, & lawmakers, & they changed the formula so that Once Removed no-longer contains anything remotely capable of getting u high or turning into GHB.
