I am starting a long term (3 month) detox which is designed to wean you off unhealthy food and get you to start eating healthy alternatives. l was wondering if eating healthy for a long period of time will reverse food allergies that were gained in adolescence.

Not likely. allergies are related to your genetic makeup and are usually inherited. they do not have anything to do with your diet, persay (unless you're literally eating something you're allergic to).

It is really unlikely, since allergies are a disorder of the immune system. You might be able to find things that you are able to eat instead of your allergens, but not get rid of them.

You can also ''gain'' allergies at any point in your life.
