l became allergic a few years ago, but I'd really like to have a cat again. I've bought the good allergen filters for my central unit, but I am concerned that wo not be enough.l just wanna make sure l buy an air filter that will do job.Anyone bought one that works well for this? Thanks in advance!
l plan on going the shelter to get one, so i'm definately going to be dealing with one with hair. l started zyrtec last week also in preparation for it.

HEPA filters are considered the best.
But, you may still have allergic reactions to the cat.
l would recommend, that you get a Sphinx cat(no hair) a friend of mine had a cat like this, very friendly and the face looks like Yoda!
These cats can be expensive, try to search under rescue!A lot of breeders give away the females after they had a couple litters(the cat gets fixed first).Look into these interesting hypoallergenic cats!

air filters do not clean the air 100%. people with asthma and other chronic dizzies they have to suffer a lot. But air filters help eliminate some but not all. We have many pills and other medicines to help as in combing with filters.
