l have allergies and this year has been worse than the last few. l still have them now, and they really kick in when I am around short haired cats, because I am allergic to them. Anyway l also have been getting bloody noses more often. Not bad just for about a few minutes then it goes away. Ive been taking like that prescription claritin, could that cause it? My allergies never lasted this long, but l have gotten bloody noses alot. Is this normal?

There will be times in ur life when u will get ''bloody noses''. Not something to worry about. l had the interior of my nose ''cauterized'' to toughen the lining. Do not do that. l wish l had just left the bloody noses alone.
My allergies went thru 3 years when l could not sleep at night & l felt like l was ''underwater'' during the daytime. l could function but l was a mess. Then l had 4 straight years with almost no allergy symptoms. l can not figure it out.
Each medicine like claritin has side effects which r not good for you. but the alternative is the allergies. l had great luck with Nasonex spray. But the list of side effects is scary so l tried to get off it as soon as l could. It worked so well that my allergies disappeared.
